A gorgeous summer session with a nice sea-breeze. I knew it would happen as I sent my 5.7m sail off for repair this morning, so there was bound to be wind. I took my 6.7m out as replacement though and just hung on and hoped for the best. Pretty maxed out to start with but the water was fairly falt so it wasn\'t too bad.
The sputnik may be from a bygone era, but it is just so smooth, perfect for balsting across the chop and I got some really nice big jumps on it too.
The wind eased a little later on so became pretty much perfect at around 18 knots for the 6.7m. Still well powered but more comfortable.
Loads of duck gybes, I atually prefer them now to standard carve gybes.

Perfect!
